Order Management
A full review of order management is available in the Venture Core Order Management section. This abbreviated order management review discusses identifying Amazon orders, search options and order confirmation workflow.
Identifying Amazon Orders
Every Amazon order in the Venture system uses the Customer PO field to store Amazon's order reference number. This number is the Amazon equivalent to a Venture System Order Number.
When an Amazon customer orders something sourced from your company, the Amazon order number is the only reference of the order that the customer and Amazon is aware. Any communication with the customer or Amazon regarding the order uses the Amazon order number.
The customer PO field is identified throughout sales order look-up, preview and processing detail:

In the preview pane, the Amazon order number is shown in the customer PO field and the comments.
Order details
In order details, you'll find the Amazon order ID referenced in the PO field and in the comments field. Also note the customer credit rating is set to Amazon. This setting serves as a secondary key on the order to incoming order payments in the Amazon settlement report.
Search Options
Using the search bar you can search for Amazon orders based on the Amazon order ID (customer PO), name, address, zip code, etc.. This is just like any other sales order search. Just remember that the PO field is searchable and that the Amazon order ID always posts to that field. Whenever presented a need to search for an Amazon order, you can use any search key including the Amazon order ID.
Order Confirmation
Amazon orders are confirmed shipped just like other orders in the Venture system. However, rather than deliver an email directly to the customer regarding shipment notification and tracking number, Venture sends the data to Amazon.
Venture's integration with Amazon allows the customer's experience with the Amazon purchase process to be clear of confusion. From the customer's point of view, he or she ordered from Amazon. Although you fulfilled the order, Venture tells Amazon when the item shipped, if the shipment was complete and any subsequent tracking information.
Your Amazon customer will receive a formal Amazon email just as though he or she ordered directly from Amazon.
