Inventory Management - Introduction
Venture Inventory Management tracks your items, their locations and all manner of information describing them. You can enter information about each item, including where you purchase the item, where you stock it, in what bin you store it, whether you track serial numbers for it, etc. Inventory is where you receive material against purchase orders, adjust stock levels that are incorrect and create planned transfers.
You can store photos and extended descriptions from here. Venture's Digital Assets Module, discussed in section 7, explores attaching PDF, spreadsheet or other files, creating and maintaining attribute names and values and cross reference drawings or other important information to items.
Most of the options in Inventory Management revolve around tracking items and stock quantities, such as: the inventory ledger, inventory adjustments, inventory value, inventory card, and inventory ranking reports.
