Introduction to Resource Planning User Manual

Venture's Resource Planning Module assists the planning of buying and selling activities. Plans are useful in both long and short-term goal seeking, forecasting and trending.

Plans work on three levels: items, vendors and company-wide. Each level of planning helps determine how and when to buy, sell, advertise or (hopefully not) liquidate inventory.

This user manual is divided into 3 sections:

CompanyPlanning
VendorPlanning
ItemPlanning


Planning Window

Resource Planning is in it's own Venture module. Modules are accessed from the File menu bar. Select File, then Modules, then Planning. When selected, Venture will open a new window. The window will be titled "Planning" and look similar to the window below.




From here, you may access company plans, vendor plans and item plans, assuming your user account has the proper permissions levels.
